The 11th Annual Tee It Up Golf Scramble was the most successful golf tournament to date, raising over $50K for BOEC’s Adaptive Programming, and selling out with 136 golfers on the course. Huge thanks to all our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and Keystone Staff.
This year’s format was a bit different and all involved adjusted seamlessly. Typically, teams of four participate in a shotgun start with a scramble format that plays off the best ball for each hole. Due to restrictions surrounding COVID-19 this format was altered to a scramble with 34 teams teeing off at designated tee times instead. Although a bit smokey outside, it was a gorgeous day for everyone checking in from 8:30 am and teeing off every 8 minutes until 3:05 pm.
It was a competitive year, with all three top teams scoring an impressive 46. The tie was decided by a scorecard playoff using the hardest handicapped holes.
