Shop to Give
There are a multitude of ways to support BOEC besides donating and volunteering your time. The following are other ways to shop like you normally would and a portion of those sales benefit BOEC!
Diane Jaffee is not only a BOEC volunteer but a children’s book author. Her latest release, Sheba La Beba and Her Furry Forest Friends, tells the story of Diane’s adorable Australian Shepard on an adventure along the Sally Barber Trail in Breckenridge. If you are a lover of animals, children, Breckenridge, or the BOEC you will love this story. Especially since Diane is donating proceeds from the sale of Sheba La Beba directly to BOEC. Books are $20 each. To order your autographed copy today please e-mail [email protected] or call Diane at 614-571-7969. Thank you Diane for creativity and dedication to BOEC.
BOEC is extremely grateful to Steve and Janet Van Wieringen, owners of Recycle Sports, for their tremendous support of BOEC. Since 2009, they have contributed over $33,000 to BOEC. We do not have the staff or storage to take donated ski gear, therefore we recommend you bring your used ski gear to Recycle Sports Frisco as they can put it to good use, which ultimately benefits BOEC in the long run.
Limber Grove hats, apparel and accessories strives to connect with and help the local Summit County community grow in many ways. One of those ways is through its partnership with BOEC by donating a percentage of all sales each month. This means that your purchase directly impacts the local community.
AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the BOEC at no cost to you! Shop on AmazonSmile or download the AmazonSmile app on your mobile device today. Either way, make sure BOEC is selected as your charity of choice under your account page.
Tip: Make it easier using the browser extension Smilematic which will automatically redirect you to AmazonSmile whenever you shop at Amazon!
Every item you donate saves precious financial resources.
BOEC has a wishlist on Amazon, and if you purchase items using AmazonSmile, while choosing BOEC as your nonprofit, Amazon will donate 0.5 percent of your eligible purchases to our programs!
We have recently learned about ways Capital One Shopping can help you find even more savings on your items! This is a free tool that compares prices among various retailers to ensure that you are getting the best deal possible whilst supporting BOEC’s adaptive programs at the same time!
Our wish list is an estimation of what we need though. If you have a question about buying a similar item to what you see on our wish list or wish to donate similar items that you already have, please contact us at [email protected].
