Typically, teams of four participate in a shotgun start with a scramble format that plays off the best ball for each hole. Due to restrictions surrounding COVID-19 this format will be altered for this year’s tournament. It will still feature a scramble format but we will be moving to tee times instead of a shotgun start.
Morning tee times will begin at 8:30am on both Holes 1 and 10, every 8 minutes until 10:06am.
Afternoon tee times will begin at 2:35pm on both Holes 1 and 10, every 10 minutes until 3:05pm. We will have 9-hole options ($85) for those that just want to play 9, every 10 minutes on Holes 1 and 10 from 3:15pm to 4:05pm.
Prizes will be awarded for the winning team, 2nd place team, 3rd place team, closest to the pin (women – #6), closest to the pin (men – #7), longest drive (men – #1), longest drive (women – #18), and longest putt (#10). Beat the Pro will take place on Hole #9 but will be a bit different this year. A circle will be drawn on the course and you place your bet that you will hit your drive into the circle. If you are successful you will receive a raffle ticket and will be entered into a 50/50 drawing to win half the pot.
All contest winners will be notified via email and announced publicly via the BOEC website and social media.
