Cycling Days
What: This summer, the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) is offering adaptive cycling lessons tailored for individuals living with spinal cord injuries. These lessons adapt to suit the abilities of each participant seeking to explore nearby trails and experience the thrill of biking in the mountains. You are welcome to bring a friend, family member, or care attendant, if needed.
Where: Various locations around Summit County, Colorado
Cost:
– $25 (group ride)
– $50 (individual lesson)
Included in the cost: Adaptive cycle rental for and 24-hour instruction & supervision by professional BOEC staff members. Due to a special grant, BOEC is able to offer reduced rates and additional scholarships for individuals living with spinal cord injuries.
Overnight Weekend
What: Join the BOEC September 20th-22nd for a weekend of paddling, ropes course, and cycling days in scenic Breckenridge, CO. Space is limited to seven participants.

Tentative Schedule for Overnight Lodge Weekend
Sept. 20: 1 PM arrival
Afternoon on ropes course
Sept. 21: Adaptive cycle in Keystone
Sept. 22: Half day paddling on the Sawmill Reservoir
1 PM departure
Where: BOEC’s Wilderness campus in Breckenridge, Colorado
Cost: $450 for weekend camp, scholarships available.
Included in the cost: Food, rustic accommodation, all group gear and specialized equipment, transportation during the course, 24-hour instruction and supervision by professional BOEC staff members. There is no charge to bring a friend, family member, or care attendant, if needed. Transportation from the greater Denver area can be arranged through BOEC for an additional cost of $100.
 
Registration: Please contact Claire DiCola at 970-453-6422 or [email protected] to request an application packet. Applicants will be screened for appropriateness by BOEC upon receipt of a completed application packet. Space is limited to eight participants.
*Round-trip transportation from the greater Denver area to Breckenridge can be arranged through BOEC for an additional cost of $100.
