BOEC is offering an all new climbing camp open to local teens of all abilities. Join us for a unique and challenging climbing camp experience where you can learn the basics of climbing, leadership skills, and so much more! We will start using our climbing wall, but also spend one day on our ropes course and one-day field trip to a local rock climbing area. Must be independent with Activities of Daily Living (ADLS) or bring an attendant. Tentative Schedule:
Day 1: Meet at BOEC – Intro to Climbing, go over the basics of knot tying, belaying, and body movements.
Day 2: Meet at BOEC – Put those new skills to practice and master your skills at BOEC Climbing wall.
Day 3: Offsite Climbing (Meeting Location TBD). Meet @ BOEC.
Day 4: Ropes Course, fun day to play and explore on our High Ropes Course.
Day 5: Final Day Offsite Rock Climbing (Meeting Location TBD).
