All volunteers who work directly with participants must complete a yearly background check. The BOEC currently uses NCSI (https://solutions.ncsisafe.com/#ssci) to do online background checks. The current cost is $30.00 and NCSI will run a re-check the 2nd year at no cost. If you have a current background check from another source we will accept a copy of that in lieu of running another one through NCSI.
