On a sunny August day at Keystone Ranch Golf Course, golfers, sponsors, and friends of the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) came together for the 16th Annual Tee It Up Golf Scramble. The result? A day filled with fun, camaraderie, and generosity that raised nearly $70,000 to directly support BOEC’s adaptive outdoor programs.

Since its start in 2009, the Tee It Up Golf Scramble has become a signature fundraising event for BOEC, combining the beauty of the Colorado Rockies with a cause that touches lives far beyond the course. Each year, participants enjoy friendly competition all while raising funds that make the outdoors accessible to people of all abilities. This year’s scramble continued that tradition with a strong showing of golfers, volunteers, and community supporters, all contributing to BOEC’s mission of inspiring confidence and independence through life-changing outdoor experiences.

The day began early with arriving golfers stocking up on their mulligans, fruit roll up advantages, door prize tickets and event swag bags. Once on the course, players were greeted with special challenges like the Beat the Pro and Longest Drive contests and took their turn testing out the new and improved golf ball launcher. The competition carried on through the afternoon with the putting contest before everyone gathered for the after party, where door prizes, awards, and trophies were announced. Guests enjoyed food, drinks, and remarks from Executive Director, Sonya Norris,  and Keystone’s General Manager and EpicPromise representative Shannon Buhler, closing the day with gratitude for the community that makes this event possible.
