On Friday, April 29, 2022, 15 Winter Interns officially ended their BOEC Internship Program after six months of hard work, dedication, and commitment to the Adaptive Ski & Snowboard Program and winter Wilderness Program. It was such a pleasure seeing each and every one of these young men and women from all over the United States grow from start to finish, and we truly hope this is just the beginning of the rest of your lives!

Within this year’s class, many came to BOEC as non-skiers and are now leaving us with the skills and experience needed to teach adaptive skiing and snowboarding at the highest of levels to the incredible population we serve. We’re hopeful that many of them will return to teach with the BOEC next winter, and know that a few of them are even staying to complete the Summer Internship Program this year. Talk about dedication!

Thank you to Aleks Godowski, Carlos Jimenez-Vazquez, Emma Brophy, Emily Paltzer, Emily Vican,  Halle Berg, Harrison Covert, Holland Kosnak, Maggie Barnard, Marybeth Surratt, Quincy Godwin, Ryley Rasmussen, Samantha Ricker, Sarah Hughes, and Stephanie Zukowski … you are all now a permanent part of the BOEC family!

Best of luck in your future endeavors!
