Sam Ricker

Sam (she/her) is the Breck Ski Office Assistant at the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC). She first joined BOEC as a winter intern in 2021, followed by a summer internship in 2022. Since then, Sam has continued to grow within the organization, working as a ski and snowboard instructor in the winter and a course director and raft guide during the summer months. She has loved teaching and guiding individuals from all backgrounds, watching students build confidence and achieve their goals on the slopes and rivers alike. In her new role as Ski Office Assistant, Sam is excited to continue fostering meaningful connections with students, staff, and volunteers while supporting BOEC’s mission year-round.
