Come join this week’s Mindful Making class to make a delicious and nutritious snack, Date Coconut Chocolate Energy Balls! These are filled with fiber and protein and are great for a midday snack! See the ingredients list below. Feel free to substitute any of the ingredients below for mini chocolate chips, any kind of nut, mini M&M’s, oats, dried fruit, peanut butter, etc! The world is your oyster here, friends! Once again, there are a couple ways to participate in this activity:

  1. Show up to join us for good conversation and to watch
  2. Get all of the ingredients listed below and make some homemade date balls
  3. Buy some pre-made energy balls at the store


  • 10-12 medjool pitted dates (or any kind of dates that are pitted)
  • 1/3 C chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ¾ C shredded coconut
  • Dash of salt
