Megan Touchett
Summer Intern
My name is Megan Touchett, and I’m eagerly anticipating the opportunity to contribute to this incredible organization. Originally from Verona Wisconsin, I came to BOEC with a passion for outdoor recreation. I recently graduated from Winona State University with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, where I developed a deep appreciation for experiential learning and its transformative power. My love for the outdoors stems from childhood adventures with my family. Whether it’s hiking, camping, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature, I find solace and inspiration in the great outdoors.
Interning with BOEC presents the perfect opportunity for me to combine my educational background with my love for outdoor recreation. I’m eager to learn from the seasoned professionals here, and I hope to gain valuable insights into adaptive outdoor education and inclusive programming. Ultimately, I aim to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to BOEC’s mission of empowering individuals of all abilities through outdoor experiences.
I can’t wait to meet and collaborate with each of you as we embark on this journey together. Let’s make a positive impact and create unforgettable experiences for our participants!
