Danielle Vizcarra
Winter Intern
Hi, I’m Danielle and I’m from San Diego, California! I have such a passion for anything and everything, sports and the outdoors. I grew up playing every sport I could think of, from tennis to lacrosse to basketball, and ended up falling in love with soccer. I played soccer throughout high school and college, and still play recreationally to this day. I also love to run and have completed two marathons and one triathlon so far, hoping for many more in the future! I earned my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Sports Psychology at California State University, Long Beach and I am currently completing my master’s degree in Recreational Therapy through Temple University. I’m so excited and grateful for this opportunity at the BOEC and to learn from this amazing team. The BOEC is a major step in my journey to become a CTRS and continue to help individuals with all abilities heal through outdoor sports and recreation.
