Anna Frankel

I am from Sacramento, California and grew up hiking and skiing in the Sierra Nevadas. I recently graduated with a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College in Minnesota. Living in the Midwest, I got to explore nature in new ways; I cross country skied in the campus arboretum and went on a canoe trip in the boundary waters to celebrate graduation. I have spent lots of time working with kids and am interested in careers that relate to education. I have especially valued opportunities to connect my love for the outdoors with my interest in education; teaching at a nature-based preschool and leading outdoor after-school programs for elementary students. I am so excited for the opportunity to experience a new side of outdoor education while exploring the Colorado mountains at the BOEC!
