Tuva Haugan
Winter Intern
Hallo hallo! My name is Tuva Gurigard Haugan, and I am from a small mountain town called Ål in Norway. I have been skiing since I was able to walk, and my family would take me skiing to our cabin far away in the mountains with the simple life with a fireplace, hot chocolate, ice fishing and the whole family around . I started to compete in Xc-skiing and biathlon, and did my bachelors degree in the Olympic town of 1994, Lillehammer in HR, business and management. Since then, I have been working in the ski industry in New Zealand, Canada, Norway as a ski patrol and xc-instructor, and also volunteering in Alaska as a dog musher. My big passion in life has always been the outdoors, and especially all types of skiing. I am hoping to be able to spread my enthusiasm for skiing and the outdoors this season, and to develop and give others a good outdoor experience in Breckenridge with only big smiles. Let’s go skiing!
