Sara Orme
Summer Intern
My name is Sara Orme, and I am from the Pacific Northwest. I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, where I developed a love for the outdoors through family camping trips to the coast, beach days in the city, and, of course, shredding at Crystal Mountain. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Global and Regional Studies from the University of Washington in 2023 and worked as a program coordinator for Reading Partners before becoming a winter intern for the 2024–2025 season. I love that the BOEC has allowed me to grow as an outdoor enthusiast while fostering joy and fun in the lives of people with disabilities and I’m super excited to continue exploring the world of accessible outdoor recreation this summer. After my time with the BOEC, I plan to pursue a degree in occupational therapy and continue working to make our world a little more accessible.
