Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Reed Owens graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Sociology and a law degree from the University of Denver. After completing law school Owens moved to Breckenridge and has called it home ever since. Owens is currently a District Court Judge in the 5th Judicial District and sits in both Eagle and Summit Counties. Owens has served as a volunteer with the BOEC Adaptive Ski & Snowboard Program since 2017 and wants to make sure that everyone has a chance to enjoy the outdoor activities that he loves so much.
