Join BOEC for four days of paddling adventures! This day camp is open to local teens of all abilities. If you like water sports this camp is for you. You’ll have the chance to try out paddling in a variety of water crafts ranging from kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards. We will start with learning the basics to boating, including paddle strokes, what to do if you fall in the water, how to safely maneuver your craft, and the importance of teamwork while on the water. The third day will be spent exploring Lake Dillon, and on Friday we will venture to the Upper Colorado River for an exciting day of whitewater rafting. Transportation to and from the river will be included. Must be independent with Activities of Daily Living (ADLS) or bring attendant. For more information or to learn of other NEW day camp options, contact Claire DiCola at (800) 383-2632 or [email protected].
