Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant and Cantina’s 2021 Cinco de Mayo celebration benefiting the BOEC has been postponed until 2022 as together we are all committed to doing our part to keep each other safe during this challenging time. We are very grateful to the entire Mi Casa family for the years of support of BOEC and look forward to an amazing Cinco de Mayo celebration next year!

Generously hosted by Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant and Cantina in Breckenridge, the annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration is an evening of food and drink, live music, door prizes and an extensive silent auction, all to benefit BOEC. Enjoy the finest Mexican food in the county and mingle with a wonderful community of people, all for a great cause.

This event raises money for BOEC’s Willie Whalen Memorial Fund, which helps us provide quality adaptive recreation and education opportunities and financial assistance to people with disabilities. Willie Whalen was with BOEC for nine years, eight as an adaptive snowboard instructor and one year as a volunteer. He is warmly remembered by students, staff, and volunteers.

Cinco is, of course, on May 5th, each year, from 5 PM to closing.

Admission to this fun-filled event is $30/adults and $15 kids 12 & under and includes:.

• Mexican buffet served, 5 to 8 PM
• Silent auction, 5 to 8:30 PM
• Live band, “Lealtad de Oaxaca”, performing 8 PM – midnight ($5 cover for attending just the band)
• Giveaways and Happy Hour all night long!

Mi Casa Restaurant is located at 600 Park Avenue in Breckenridge, across from The Village at Peak 9 and adjacent to Parking Lot F.

Through the generosity of Mi Casa Restaurant and the business community, Cinco de Mayo has raised over $500,000 to date for BOEC!
