Emily Vican

Hello! My name is Emily Vican! I am from Oxford, Michigan, and I am finishing up my last year at Oakland University, where I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I grew up traveling all over the country … hiking, backpacking, hunting, and camping everywhere imaginable! Out west is definitely my favorite spot. I started skiing when I was 14 years old, and while the mountains in Michigan aren’t anything comparable to out west, I am excited to further my skiing skills and have a great time! I have found much joy in exploring new possibilities and the outdoors are an absolute passion of mine. Sharing them with others is an opportunity I would love to provide, which is what led me to the BOEC internship! I am so excited to begin this new adventure and to see where it takes me!
