Cristina Toro

Hi! My name is Cristina. I’m originally from Chicago, but tend to call it my “Home Base” due to me always travelling and adventuring elsewhere! I am currently concluding my studies in Recreational Therapy, with a concentration in Adventure-Based Recreational therapy. I grew up around many individuals, including myself, who unfortunately lacked the access and inclusion to the many activities that eventually became very therapeutic for me: hiking, rock climbing, paddling, trail running, snowboarding, skateboarding, etc. Due to this, I found purpose in helping others through nature and outdoor sports. I know that BOEC will help with such a mission and I definitely look forward to that journey altogether!
