Accessible Lodging

Thank you for choosing the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center for your next adventure! If you don’t already have a place to stay, the following are some recommendations for accessible lodging in and around Breckenridge and Keystone.

Breckenridge

Gravity Haus offers ADA accessible rooms at a discount to BOEC participants. Contact Booking at gravityhaus.com and input “BOEC” as the promo code. You may also call 970-453-5125 and let them know you are a BOEC participant for the discounted room rate. Please note, the discount applies to Sunday-Wednesday only, and no holiday weeks.

*Gravity Haus’ location is the closest lodging to the Breckenridge Adaptive Ski & Snowboard School on Peak 9.

Beaver Run Resort is ADA as they have an elevator and ramps. The rooms are not ADA, but do have some units with bars. Call, they may have something that will work.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel has a wide range of features for your accessible needs, and complies with ADA Guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

The Residence Inn offers plenty of accessible features, including 32″ wide doorways, bathroom bars, hearing accessible rooms and/or kits, roll-in showers, TTY/TTD availability, toilet seats at wheelchair height and more. For more information about the physical features of accessible rooms, common areas, or special services related to a specific disability, they ask that you contact them at 970-453-1181.

Marriott’s Mountain Valley Lodge at Breckenridge has accessible rooms that offer roll in showers and hearing accessible rooms with visual alarms and visual notification devices for door and phone.

*The Marriott’s location is closest to the Breckenridge Adaptive Ski & Snowboard School.

The Hyatt Residence Club is committed to providing equal access and opportunity for individuals with disabilities, including an accessible registration desk and public entrance, as well as accessible routes to guestrooms.

The River Mountain Lodge has one studio unit that has larger doors and bars in the tub. Not ADA compliant, however.

The Wedgewood Lodge has two studio units that have large bathroom doors and handles in the tubs. However, the kitchens are not accessible.

The Grand Timber Lodge has some rooms with larger doors and bars in the tubs.

Keystone

The Hyatt Place Keystone features emergency strobe light & strobe light smoke detectors, cordless phones, closed-captioned TVs, wider doors, lowered thermostats and light switches, lowered peepholes and door latches, and accessible bathrooms.

Frisco

AC Hotel Frisco offers 12 ADA accessible rooms at a discounted rate.
