Oscar DeFrancis

Hi! My Name is Oscar DeFrancis. I’m from Northampton, Massachusetts, and just recently graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont with a Bachelors in Environmental Studies and Geography. Thanks to summer camps during my childhood and my time in college, I have spent a significant portion of my life exploring the outdoors of New England, particularly in Vermont. I am an avid trail runner, skier, climber, biker, and fan of basically anything that involves going up! When I’m not outside, I enjoy playing, listening to, or discussing music with friends, writing down my random thoughts as poetry (because I’m not sure what else to call it), and cooking and eating delicious foods. Since graduating this February, I’ve been living in my car and staying with friends, traveling and exploring out west (a lot here in Colorado), and getting to do some rad skiing! I love being outside because it makes me feel confident and always pushes me in ways I don’t expect. It allows me to foster and grow connections to loved ones and strangers alike. I can’t wait to spend this summer helping others feel the same!
