Lucie Hughes
Winter Intern
My name is Lucie Hughes, and I am from Little Rock, Arkansas. I recently graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. I have only ever lived in the Natural State, and while it is beautiful, I am eager to experience everything Colorado has to offer. Prior to moving to Breckenridge, I was working at Camp Aldersgate located in Little Rock. Camp Aldersgate is a non-profit that provides camping programs for individuals with disabilities and various medical conditions. I worked as a counselor in college and joined the programs team as a supervisor following graduation. This job is why I am so passionate about accessibility and inclusion. I have enjoyed being able to learn more about creating inclusive and accessible environments in a camp setting, but am thrilled to learn more about what that looks like at the BOEC. In my free time I love to run, be outside, watch Razorback sports, find new restaurants and coffee shops, and hang out with my dogs. I grew up skiing with my family, and skied at Breckenridge once in college, but am excited to explore the mountain more!
