BOEC’s Tee It Up Golf Scramble: A Day of Fun, Competition, and Generous Support

Blue River Sports/Mountain Wave joined us on the greens for a great day!

On a beautiful summer day in August, the 15th annual Tee It Up Golf Scramble was held at Keystone Ranch Golf Course, raising over $78,000 in gross proceeds to directly support BOEC’s adaptive outdoor programming. This success wouldn’t have been possible without the generous contributions of our Premier sponsors: Breckenridge Grand Vacations, Vail Resorts EpicPromise, and Long & Robinson, LLC. Golf carts for BOEC’s 15th Annual Tee It Up Golf Scramble headed out to start the day after the 10AM shotgun start.

Our golfers eagerly anticipate this tournament each year, not only for the support it provides to BOEC but also for the classic fun it delivers! This year, 144 golfers (36 teams) embraced the tournament full of exciting competitions.

The tournament featured a range of events including the Men’s and Women’s Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Longest Putt, Beat the Pro, and a Putting Contest on the green to cap off the day. In addition, there was a prize for the longest golf ball launch from the golf ball launcher sponsored by iFurnish.

We concluded the festivities with a lively 19th Hole After Party, sponsored by Vail Resorts EpicPromise, where we celebrated with trophies, door prizes, and a 50/50 prize drawing for Beat the Pro, and enjoyed great food and après drinks. It was a fantastic way to end a memorable day on the course!

Last year, we added trophies to the prize for all of our competition winners. Trophies were given out for First Place Team, Second Place Team, Third Place Team, Men’s Longest Drive, Women’s Longest Drive, Men’s Closest to the Pin, Women’s Closest to the Pin, and Longest Putt.
