Nina Lennie

Hi! My name is Nina Lennie, and I am from Eastern Canada. In University, I studied Chemistry and Mathematics, with the hope of working in the medical field for people with disabilities. Outside of school, I spend most of my time cross country skiing, running and planting trees in Western Canada. I feel unbelievably lucky for my own experiences outdoors, and I am passionate about the health benefits of being outdoors, specifically for people with disabilities. Over the past few years, I have had the fortune of working with people with disabilities through Special Olympics and SwimAbilities, and I am constantly inspired by the abilities of all individuals. The BOEC is an absolute dream combination of everything I care most about and I am extremely excited to learn from the wide-ranging knowledge of all participants and staff at the BOEC.
