Ellen Hann

Breckenridge Adaptive Ski & Snowboard Intern

Ellen Hann

Hi, I’m Ellen! I grew up in Northern California and attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, where I studied Molecular Biology and Education. Some people ask me what does molecular biology have to do with adaptive skiing, and the answer is that they’re both awesome! I’ve spent the last two and a half years working at a year round respite camp for children and adults with disabilities; this job changed my life and opened my eyes to the field of adaptive recreation. I grew up skiing and backpacking in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and I strongly believe that everyone deserves to experience the exhilaration of outdoor sports. I’m looking forward to spending this winter living in a beautiful place, working with awesome people, and doing work that I care deeply about! My other interests include running, reading, and traveling.
