SUMMARY:Women's Heroic Military Colorado River Trip
DESCRIPTION:Come spend 3 days and 2 nights on the Colorado River traveling down the scenic Ruby Horsethief Canyon in SW Colorado. From the seat of your canoe\, you will be quickly immersed in the start of canyon country with the glow of red rocks\, bald eagles\, and beautiful sunsets on the mighty Colorado. After 3 days of a mellow scenic float\, your river adventure will be elevated as we take a guided tour through “The West’s Best Short Whitewater Trip\,” which is Westwater Canyon. On this 17 mile stretch\, the river quickly narrows and you will be awed by the Precambrian rock – the same rock found in the Grand Canyon – be challenged with class III-IV whitewater\, and finish as the river widens to take in the last views of this scenic stretch of river. \nInvited on this adventure are veterans\, active-duty military\, and members of the Guard and Reserve. This trip includes river and camping gear\, instruction\, meals\, 24-hour staffing\, and a fun\, relaxed atmosphere. Travel will be in canoes\, inflatable kayaks\, and a support raft. \nApply Now
