SUMMARY:Outdoor Active Ski Retreat (OAR)
DESCRIPTION:The Outdoor Active Ski Retreat is a five-day program designed for adults living with Parkinson’s Disease. Participants will enjoy skiing\, adaptive yoga\, stretching and movement exercises\, and companionship. The program is based in Breckenridge\, CO at our Scott Griffith Lodge. \nIncluded in the program is lodging\, meals\, ski instruction\, equipment\, and 24-hour staff support. The evenings are ideal for relaxing at the Griffith Lodge\, sharing stories\, expressing joys\, and sharing valuable resources. Attendees are invited to bring a spouse\, friend or other guest who provides them with support. SUMMARY:Challenge By Choice - Brain Injury Alliance (BIA) Ski Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss out this winter! BOEC is offering a five-day retreat in partnership with the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC). Activities include skiing\, snowboarding\, snowshoeing\, and tubing. This program is designed for adults living with a brain injury and is based out of our accessible Scott Griffith Lodge. This program includes meals and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. Adaptive ski and snowboard lessons are run through the Breckenridge Adaptive Ski & Snowboard School at the BOEC.
