BOEC will be taking over Breckenridge to highlight the power of adaptive recreation and showcase what true inclusion on the slopes looks like. \nFirst Tracks Fundraiser: Enjoy early lift access and untouched morning slopes at Peak 9 to start the day\, followed by breakfast burritos and coffee at Tenmile Station. Tickets will be $30 in advance\, $35 at the door or the most generous donation you can afford\, and all proceeds support our adaptive programming. Purchase tickets here. \nMountain Takeover: Stop by Tenmile Station or the base of Peak 8 to learn about the adaptive gear and instruction that makes skiing and snowboarding possible for every ability. Connect with the BOEC athletes\, staff\, and community members who make our programs possible. \nAprès Celebration: Close out the day with an après at The Maggie\, celebrating inclusion in the outdoors. Join us for deals on drink tickets\, a live DJ\, and win incredible prizes at our prize drawing. DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Move United and Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge\, Colorado\, Ski Spectacular presented by The Hartford is one of the nation’s largest winter sports festivals for people with disabilities\, with more than 800 registered participants annually! \nThe programs offered during this week-long event include learn to ski and snowboard lessons\, a week-long race camp\, Level I Race (Ski Spec Challenge Race)\, Nordic skiing\, free clinics (in Nordic skiing\, biathlon\, curling\, and sled hockey)\, PSIA National Adaptive Academy for Instructors\, banquets\, and other social/networking events. \nSki Spectacular presented by The Hartford strengthens and expands adaptive snow sports programs in communities throughout the U.S. and helps identify and train youth\, wounded warriors\, and others with disabilities who strive to be winter Paralympians. DESCRIPTION:Kick off  our 50th anniversary celebration at Wake Up Breck\, on Thursday\, November 6th!\nWake Up Breck is an annual community tradition in celebration of Breckenridge’s opening day. This year\, Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center is honored to be chosen as the beneficiary of this event and invites the community to come together to kick off our 50th year and the start of the winter season. \nOn Thursday\, join BOEC\, Breckenridge Ski Resort and the Town of Breckenridge at participating coffee shops across Town to collect a FREE commemorative coffee mug and a free cup of coffee. Thursday’s event begins at 7 a.m. and lasts until all mugs run out. Mugs typically run out within the hour\, so guests are encouraged to arrive early and mugs are limited to one per person. \nBreckenridge Ski Resort will also match all donations collected during Wake Up Breck to further support our mission.
